- Right click on the blue "e" on the desktop and select properties.
(If you do not have the Desktop icon, you can get to the same screen
by opening "Control Panel" and then opening "Internet Options").

- Select the "Connections" tab and click on the "Setup" button.
The Connection Wizard will open.

- Select the last option on the first page... "I want to setup my
connection manually..." and click "Next."

- Select "Modem" for the type of connection and click "Next."

- If the following screen appears you needs to setup/install your
modem before you can continue any further. This is a hardware installation
procedure. Either you have not installed drivers for your modem
or you do not have a modem installed. Please call GKG at 1-877-272-3300.

- On the next screen enter the appropriate GKG
dialup access number. Make sure the "area code and country code"
box is unchecked. If you are dialing to a different area code enter
the area code in the same box as the phone number. (This prevents
the computer from dialing a '1' for long distance). You are responsible
for any long distance charges that may occur by any of GKG's dial
up numbers.

- Enter your username and password on the next screen.

- For the next screen of the connection wizard, enter the name for
the connection - "GKG" and the name of the city in which you will
be dialing. (example GKG Giddings).

- Normally you will want to continue after this step to setup the
email account; to do so, select "yes" and then click "Next". However,
if the email has already been setup, you may finish the setup by
selecting "no."

- You will be asked to enter a "Display Name." This can be whatever
you want and in any format. This is what will appear in the "From"
field when you send an email. Click "Next."

- If an account already exists, you have the option to "Create a
new Internet mail account" or "use an exiting account". Select "Create
a new Internet mail account" and click "next."

- Now enter the email address in the space provided: username@gkg.net
and click "Next."

- The default entry for the mail server is "POP3", leave this as
is. Enter the incoming mail server name "pop.gkg.net" and the outgoing
mail server name "smtp.gkg.net". Click "Next."

- Here you will be asked for your "Account name" and "Password",
this is the same as your Dial up username. Click "Next".

- Outlook Express 5.5 and earlier will ask you for an account name,
this can be left at the default or renamed to any name the user
desires, it is only a title for the account in Outlook Express.
Outlook Express 6 will skip this step and present you with the final
page. Click "Finish."
