Type in the address/name you have selected. Remember, you can only use letters, numbers and dashes. The maximum number of characters allowed is 63 (this does not include .com, .org or .net).

Choose the extension that you want (.com, .net or .org) from the pulldown menu.

Click GO!, and GKG's search engine will search the entire Internet, and every possible domain name, to see if that address is taken.

The search results will tell you if the address that you're looking for is available.

Because their domain name is so important, many registrants secure addresses in all of the top-level domains (TLDs) that are available. It's a good idea to get all three top-level domains - .com, .net and .org, if they're available and any other variations that are offered. Just check the box on the left to add that TLD to your list.

For each domain that you select, please choose the number of years you wish to purchase, from one to 10.

If you would like to register more domains, enter them here and press go.

When you've made your decisions, click "continue".

If you are a first-time registrant, you'll need to fill out all pertinent data in this form. This form also creates your GKG username and password, which you can use to register any other domains you might want to add later; you will also use your GKG username for future payments or changes.

Deluxe Parking Package. Use this option if you know that the address you want is available, even if your web site isn't ready to "go live" on the Internet. This package provides several extra services for up to one year, such as: a 5MB Pop3 email account, up to 10 email aliases, 1 wildcard alias (catchall email address) and URL forwarding. The Deluxe Parking Package costs an additional $7.95 for one year.

d.

Free Parking Package. Use this option if you know that the address you want is available, even if your web site isn't ready to "go live" on the Internet. This package provides 1 wildcard alias (catchall email address) and a "Coming Soon" page. Best of all, this service is absolutely FREE!

Host your site with another service provider. If you have a service provider chosen, and have their DNS information available, click here.
